History of Hendel's Tree Care & Landscaping
Hendel's Affordable Tree Care and Landscaping was built by the hands, the grit, and the values of Jarrod Hendel, the visionary leader who continues to guide and inspire the company today.
Jarrod Hendel has helped his father, Paul, and grandfather, Ed, in the woods and the family farm since he was five. Jarrod has also helped out his uncle, Ron Hendel, who had been doing tree work since 1964 in the Hamilton – Butler County area.
In 1994, Jarrod Hendel was running his own tree crew working for Ed Shelton, a well known builder on the West Side of Hamilton, OH. Ed allowed Jarrod to keep his firewood to sell, and so it began — Jarrod sold 27 cord his sophmore year in high school. Jarrod graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2000 with a B.S., and graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2003 with a M.B.A specializing in technology management.
Ed, Paul & Ron's fundamental belief in a strong work ethic, quality service, passion, and common sense helped build the foundations of Hendel's guiding principles that still endure among Hendel's coworkers. At Hendel Tree Care and Landscaping we haven't forgotten what we have learned from the first job—if we pay attention to the details, our customers will keep coming back.
Hendel's continues to grow today to be a leader in tree care industry in the Greater Cincinnati Area and Northern Kentucky. Fueled by this reputation and an innate passion for arboricultural and horticultural, Hendel's Tree Care & Landscaping has continued to grow.
