Explanation of Feeding, Trunk Injections, Spraying

An ISA Certified Arborist and a licensed pesticide applicator giving you a free tree evaluation while we are already at your home for the reason you called us. We are committed to human and property safety, to restore, maintain and enhance tree health. The Hendel Tree Care Difference – Our process of Liquid Rood Feeding is much better than the TruGreen, or Scotts commercial turf applicator who just fertilizes mulch beds and grass again, not getting where the tree root are 2-12" below the ground. "Feeding your lawn does not feed your trees."

Liquid Root Feeding
A probe is used to get below the soil so the fertilizer goes directly into your trees or shrubs root system. We fertilize with a slow release soluble fertilizer to improve plant vitality and strengthen the plant(s) response to the impacts of various abiotic and biotic stresses. Feeding under pressure also aerates the soil to combat compaction. Supplemental iron, additional micro-nutrients, and soil acidifying agents are added as needed. Iron can be added, too.
Tree (Trunk) Injections – What are They?
We use Mauget Micro-Injections which is a state-of-the-art for treating disease, insects and nutritional problems. It allows the introduction of systemic chemicals such as antibiotic, fungicides, insecticides, and mineral nutrients, directly in to a tree vascular system which means they go to work immediately.
Spraying Trees – Why would we want to do that?
Spraying trees helps control and eliminate fungi, aphid, scale, insects and there eggs, spider mites, bagworms, ants & borers. At Hendel's Affordable Tree Care we have the proper training to know when and what to spray to keep your plants healthy.
Prices for Feeding & Injections look Strange
The reason you might see a (Oak 10, 10, 10) means you have 3 oak trees that are 10 feet in circumference. This lets us know how much fertilizer or injections you need to feed / treat your trees. That is how we calculate the price. The more we do on your property, the cheaper per tree it is. Also, signing up for a 3 year contract can give you a 33% discount.
Which Should I do the Nutrient Injections or the Liquid Root Feeding?
We generally suggest both if it is in your budget. They both have a very positive effect on the tree and if there are budget concerns sign up for the 3 year plan and receive 33% discount! Remember, proper Feeding & Spraying of trees saves a lot of expense of removal or replacing trees later on.
Plant Trees Now!
The best time to plant a tree was 25 years ago; the next best time is now! Trees and landscape can add up to 10% value to your home, neighborhood / community. If you have a 40 year old home, and ten 40 year old trees that are all "soft maples cause that is what the builder planted for free." You have a problem. Trees are like 10 year old crops. It is always a good idea to replace a tree every time you lose a tree just to maintain status quo. Also have one of our arborist plant the right tree in the right location. Too many times "Nurseries" are just trying to get rid of old trees. We always chose the best of the best when we plant. – Have you tree's picked out by a certified ISA arborist!
